30 Excellent Mountains over 2,000 feet in the Yorkshire Dales National Park

Many people know about the Yorkshire 3 Peaks challenge and some will have done it. However there are so many more beautiful mountains in the Dales to enjoy. The Dales 30 (named for the 30 mountains over 2,000ft in the area) offer a completely different sort of challenge. A more leisurely challenge, one that can be completed at one’s own pace, with it brings a full appreciation of the Dales. Similar to the Wainwrights in the Lake District, come and try the Dales 30.

Meet Jonathan

Jonathan introduced the Dales 30 as a challenge following his own completion of the Munros (and Tops), Wainwrights & Marilyns of England.

He felt the superb and, in most cases, rarely visited mountains of the Dales needed their own challenge.
